Data we collect and why

We only collect the data strictly necessary for the services you request:

  • Contact and support forms: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. Purpose: to answer your request and provide support. Legal basis: your consent and/or pre-contractual measures.
  • Secure Message: the encrypted content you submit and, optionally, a notification email address. The message is encrypted, can be read only once and is then automatically destroyed. Purpose: to provide confidential, ephemeral sharing.
  • Cookies and analytics: see our cookie policy. Analytics (Umami, self-hosted, anonymous) are enabled only with your consent.
  • Anti-spam protection: when a form is submitted, technical signals (including your IP address) may be processed to tell humans from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by technical providers acting on our behalf:

  • Mailgun (Sinch) — delivery of transactional emails;
  • Zoho Corporation — support tickets, customer relationship management and invoicing;
  • Cloudflare — anti-bot protection (Turnstile).

These providers may process data outside the European Union; where applicable, such transfers are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose: the time needed to handle your request and, where relevant, for the duration of our business relationship and our legal obligations (in particular accounting). Secure messages are destroyed as soon as they are read or when they expire.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at fm@lwpc.lu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD)cnpd.lu.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Secure messages are encrypted (AES-256-GCM). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
